Meet Brooke Stubbert, RP
I’m Brooke Stubbert, a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Alternative Roots Therapy. My own experiences, along with my education and training, have shaped my deep commitment to mental health and healing. Having faced my own personal challenges, I deeply understand the complexities of resilience, healing, and transformation. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy—compassionate, practical, and tailored to meet you where you are.
I specialize in helping individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Whether you’re struggling with emotion regulation, conflict resolution, self-doubt, or life transitions, I’m here to provide support that feels natural and empowering.

Why “Alternative Roots”?
The name Alternative Roots symbolizes the idea that our paths to healing and personal growth aren’t always straightforward. Just like the roots of a tree, our experiences, environment, and challenges shape who we are and how we move forward.
Healing and growth are rarely linear—there is always more than one way forward. If one path isn’t working, there is always an alternative route to take. This idea was inspired by my previous work with first responders who constantly have to adapt and reroute to overcome obstacles. In therapy, I will help you explore new perspectives, uncover your strengths, and find a path that works best for you.
I strive to create a warm, down-to-earth, and pressure-free therapy experience. Seeking help takes courage, and my goal is to make the process feel as natural and comfortable as possible.
